Primo Foods Unveils Revamped Deli in Western Sydney, ‘The Primo Deli’
JBS Australia’s Primo Foods as it officially launched the revamped Primo Deli. The Primo Deli has been the cornerstone of Primo’s Chullora facility near Sydney Australia for 25 years offering premium quality meats and authentic Deli selections.
At Primo, we believe in delivering an exceptional range of high-quality proteins at affordable prices, and our Primo Deli reflects just that.
The renovation was not only focused on improving The Primo Deli’s look and feel, but also optimising its operations to perfect the customer experience and service. This included upgrading the safety gear and equipment for in-store butchers, in line with JBS and Primo’s focus on enhancing safety outcomes through continuous improvement.
We had the great pleasure and honour of a beautiful Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony from Uncle Michael and Raymond of the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council with special guests Tony Burke, Wally Mehanna, Erin Dib representing Jihad Dib and Rev. Bill Crews from the Rev. Bill Crews Foundation join us on the day.
The Primo Food Truck, which is dedicated to fostering local connections, serving delicious food and supporting charities, was on site and busy serving delicious food and donated $5000 to the Rev. Bill Crews Foundation, a local charity that provides social welfare, food, and education support to make a tangible difference for those in need.
Jamie Eastley, Chief Operating Officer of Primo Foods said the Primo team has embraced the new look and feel of The Deli and looks forward to opening its doors to the community once again.
"For almost 40 years, Primo has been an integral part of our local Sydney community, employing over 3,000 team members nationally and proudly producing delicious quality food.
“At Primo, we believe in delivering an exceptional range of high-quality proteins at affordable prices, and our Primo Deli reflects just that. We look forward to celebrating and welcoming everyone to our new revamped store,” said Mr Eastley.

Primo’s food donations combined with their fundraising efforts has a big impact on our local community by providing quality protein to those in need. We’re grateful for the generous donation from the Primo Food truck at the Deli re-opening this weekend, and look forward to continuing the great work with Primo.”
Wally Mehanna, CEO Chamber of Commerce Canterbury-Bankstown, said: "Primo is a valuable asset to the community, providing local employment opportunities, as well as a positive community experience through the Primo Food Truck and the Primo Deli that offers a range of affordable, high quality and delicious products. I’m excited to continue the good work we do with Primo in the community.” The Primo Deli is located at 18 Hume Highway, Chullora and open to customers six days a week.
