President, Regional Beef, JBS Foods USA
Shannon Grassl serves as President of the JBS USA Regional Beef business unit.
He started his career in 2003 at Smithfield Beef and became part of the JBS USA team when JBS acquired the Smithfield beef group in 2008.
Throughout his career, Grassl has held a variety of positions, including Business Analyst, BA Manager, Head of Pricing and Supply Chain and Vice President of Pricing, Sales, Supply Chain and Specialty Programs.
Grassl earned a bachelor’s degree in Business / Management Information Systems in 2002 from Michigan Technological University and also graduated from the University of Chicago Booth’s Advanced Management Program.
