Shannon Grassl

Shannon Grassl has nearly 20 years of experience in the meat industry. He started his career in 2003 at Smithfield Beef and became part of the JBS USA team when JBS acquired the Smithfield beef group in 2008. He has served as President of the JBS USA Regional Beef Division since 2020.

Throughout his career, Grassl has held a variety of positions, including Business Analyst, BA Manager, Head of Pricing and Supply Chain and Vice President of Pricing, Sales, Supply Chain and Specialty Programs.

Grassl received a bachelor’s degree in Business / Management Information Systems in 2002 from Michigan Technological University and also graduated from the University of Chicago Booth’s Advanced Management Program.
