Sam McConnell

Sam McConnell was appointed Chief Operating Officer, Southern in January 2012. Prior to this, Sam’s JBS career began with Swift Trade in Brisbane as a Trader. He then moved to the U.S. to set up the Trading division, and subsequently was appointed to Head of Beef Exports North America and all international offices, before returning to Australia in his current role. He has worked in the meat industry for 18 years, and prior to this, Sam worked as a Senior Trader with Elders Wool International.
